Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Yugambeh language-speaking peoples as the traditional custodians of this country, and recognise their continuing connection to land, winds, and waters has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, as they hold the wisdom, memories, traditions, stories and culture of this land.

Acknowledgement of Yoga Lineage

We acknowledge that yoga is an ancient practice with deep roots in South Asian traditions. We are committed to teaching and practicing yoga with respect for this lineage, guided by humility, care, and continual learning. As white teachers, we recognise that we are engaging with a tradition that is not our own. We approach this work with an awareness of that responsibility and a commitment to honouring the origins, teachers, and cultures from which yoga comes.
